GET TO KNOW THE DOCTOR
Dr. Handy graduated from George Mason University in 2012 with a BS in Kinesiology. While at GMU, he was an All-American in track and field and worked at Walter Reed in the Injury Prevention Research Lab. He gained experience in biomechanics and rehab for 4 years as a physical therapy technician and track coach. Dr. Handy earned his doctorate Summa Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic. He worked with the Daytona Broncos semi-pro football team and volunteered with Brooks Rehab Adaptive sports program. He completed a rotation at the Veterans Affairs hospital in Augusta, GA where he worked with complex musculoskeletal conditions. He also accumulated several hundreds of hours of Gonstead-specific chiropractic training and spinal rehabilitation.
Dr. Handy enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 daughters (#GIRLDAD). When not in the office you can find him coaching, hiking, or working with special needs kids.
